 ILS imported from TOSHIBA (Japan) Company was brought into service with investment of RMB 1,125,000Yuan.
In same month
West Super-west Distance Beacon was brought into service including 323.84m2 houses for facilities and operation with investment of RMB 167,000Yuan, which was 15.5km to west end of runway, near to Double-tai Gou.
July 6
 Mr. Arshad, President of People¡¯s Republic of Bangladesh, visited Dalian, and Air Station provided security for his special airplane.
September
 Fujiazhuang Range Locating Beacon at longitude 121¡ã38¡ä15¡å east and latitude 38¡ã52¡ä30¡å north, was brought into service with 570.8m2 of floor area and investment of RMB 574,000Yuan, which was approved by CAAC (Han Zi [1987] No.533) to report for construction range locating beacon at Fujiazhuang, Dalian on July 27 of same year.
In same month
 Omnidirectional range station/ranging station was brought into service with 36.22m2 of floor area and investment of RMB 955,000Yuan, which was 70m south away from taxiway and inside 500m from west end of runway. In which, reflecting net was all imported from TOSHIBA (Japan) Company.
October
 400 MD-110 Type Program-control Telephone Exchange, imported from Ericsson (Sweden) Company, were brought into service and 200 phone lines were opened from Station to city districts.
December Oil supply project with construction period of 21 months was finished and brought into service, which was made of oil storage zone, oil discharge zone, oil storage for operation zone and pipe laying. In which, main part¡ªoil storage zone, in the north slope of Jianshan in Gezhengpu Village, Ganjingzi District, Dalian, contained 4 oilcans with oil quantity reaching 2000m3, oil discharge zone, between Station and oil storage zone, was equipped 609m special railway, oil storage for operation zone, in the southwest of Station, contained 6 horizontal oilcans in 80m2, and 9km-long pipe laying connected oil discharge zone and oil storage for operation zone. The total floor area of Project waas 3590m2 and total investment was RMB 10,770,000Yuan.
