 Air Station was transferred to Naviation Tuchengzi Airport.
On same day
Expansion Project of Runway was started with investment of RMB 50,296,000Yuan to extend runway to 3300m (with width of 60m and thickness of 0.37m),. On Nov. 20 of same year, Project passed checking and accepting and brought into service. 296 Trident Airliner by CAAC Shenyang Administration, with nearly one hundred passengers home and abroad, flied to Beijing, which showed the end of history that only medium-sized and small-sized airplanes could take off and touch down in Dalian Airport.
